The Dense Aggregate Range

Manufactured naturally quarried aggregates, our dense aggregate building blocks are suitable for loadbearing and non-loadbearing walls above and below D.P.C. level in all types of buildings

In addition to use below D.P.C. 100mm blocks can achieve "U" values of better than 0.60w/m²with most cavity insulants.

Finish

Common blocks have an open texture surface to assist with rendering.

Fairfaced blocks are suitable for walls to be left indecorated or painted. Strict quality control procedures and methods of manufacture ensure accurate dimensions and close tolerances, producing good flat surfaces for fairfaced application. The low absorption rate of the ballast aggregate composition means that only two coats of emulsion paint will normally be required where overpainting is desirable. Reveal blocks are available in the same finish.

Bricks

Common Bricks

Manufactured in a range of strengths, these bricks may be used either for the main body of a construction, or used to course in with our concrete blocks. Our Common Bricks are regular in shape and have clean crisp arrises.

Facing Bricks

Concrete facings bricks are now used as an alternative to the more traditional clay bricks, at a fraction of the cost whilst retaining the quality and look.

We manufacture facings in a range of six plain colours - Buff, Charcoal, Bracken, Rowan, Peat, Cinnamon, and two multicolours; Rustic and Tuscan.

Engineering Strength Bricks

A high strength frogged concrete brick meeting Department of Transport requirements for use in drainage and associated groundwork, manufacture specifically for use in manholes and inspection chambers.
